Job summary

IdahoPTV is seeking a Temp Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Nampa, ID, for a part-time role in the State Hospital West psychiatric unit. The LPN will work under the supervision of RNs and healthcare providers to deliver compassionate, medically directed care to adolescents in a structured setting.

The position requires Idaho LPN licensure, offers benefits after eligibility, and is not eligible for telework.

Qualifications

• Requires state licensure as a Practical Nurse in Idaho (Nurse Licensure Compact).
• LPN licensure and ability to work in a structured psychiatric unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other authorized healthcare provider.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policies.
• Monitor patients’ physical and behavioral health and report changes to clinical staff.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient safety and a therapeutic treatment environment.
