Temporary Level 1 IT Technician (3 Months - Part-Time)

New York City, NY

Location: New York - (4 days in office 9 - 5)

Hours:Max of 32 Hours a Week

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide onsite 1st line IT support for the New York office including, but not limited too:
  • WiFi connectivity issues
  • Conference Room maintenance
  • Printer Support
  • Password Issues and Assisting with 2FA
  • Provide remote 1st line IT support for the US/LATAM region via ticketing system and other communication platforms, including but not limited to:
  • WiFi connectivity issues
  • Conference Room maintenance
  • Printer Support
  • Password Issues and Assisting with 2FA
  • Onboarding of new employees in our US and LATAM regions, including but not limited to:
  • Hardware Provisioning
  • Account Creation and onboarding sessions
  • Support local IT team with any events
  • Assisting with software deployment, security updates and patches
  • Managing MiQ assets via our Asset Management Solution

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1 years experience in technical support role
  • Experience working with MDM and Anti-virus solutions
  • Experience working with SaaS apps (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
  • Experience working with both Windows and MacOS
  • Knowledge of workplace communication technologies

Pay Transparency

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $28/HR - $32/HR.This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
