UC San Diego's Global Health Program (GHP) is seeking temporary, non-tenure track lecturer (Unit 18) to teach courses for the upcoming academic year. The position will be in-person on the UC San Diego Campus in La Jolla, with responsibilities including teaching, syllabus development, and mentoring teaching assistants where needed.
Candidates should have a PhD or 3–5 years of professional experience in medical anthropology, public health, global health, epidemiology, or medical social science.

GHP is looking for Lecturers with demonstrated teaching experience in related disciplines ranging from medical anthropology, public health, global health, epidemiology, and medical social sciences. Courses may be at the graduate or undergraduate level and are in the area of global health related topics.
The position is expected to be in-person and classes will be held on the UC San Diego Campus.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Candidates applying must have a PhD or equivalent degree or at least 3-5 years of professional experience in medical anthropology, public health, global health, epidemiology, or a medical social science.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in teaching or mentoring in global health related topics.
