Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a TEMP-Lab/Research Support in the College of Computing at the Atlanta, GA campus. This temporary, full-time role supports the operation and maintenance of academic/research laboratories, performing analyses, instrument setup, and stock management.

Responsibilities include preparing samples, setting up demonstrations, handling equipment, and maintaining records. Requires a high school diploma or GED and up to two years of related experience; a Master's in CS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma.
• Up to two years of job related experience.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and maintain instruments and other equipment used in performing lab tests and experiments.
• Order supplies and materials as required; maintain records.
• Setup laboratory media/equipment for demonstrations.
• May clean instruments, glassware and other lab equipment.
• Prepare and process laboratory samples for use in assigned tests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
