Job summary

Northeastern University is seeking Standardized Patients/Patient Actors to support pharmacy and medical simulation labs in the Bouve College of Health Sciences. You will portray real patients, simulate emotions and disease symptoms, and engage in role-playing with health professions students on campus.

About the Opportunity Job Summary

Standardized Patients/Patient Actors assist with pharmacy and medical simulation labs in the Bouve College of Health Sciences. Through patient-provider role-playing, Standardized Patients enable health professions students to practice necessary skills and behaviors in labs and other simulated learning experiences. Standardized Patients must be on campus during scheduled times. They are utilized during the fall, spring, and summer terms, typically between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Standardized Patients may be scheduled to work one or multiple activities and typically work between two and eight hours during an activity.
