Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a store team member in Union City, CA. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and execute fast checkout with precise cash handling.

You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain attractive shelves to support the store’s brand promises. Cross training includes Custom Framing selling and production, and you will participate in planogram execution, SISO tasks, and safety programs while engaging customers and promoting the rewards

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and access high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain planograms (POGs) to keep the store well-merchandised.
• Support omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in shrink control, safety programs, and adherence to SOPs.

Store - BAY-UNION CITY, CADeliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for. Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
