Job summary

Covercraft Industries, LLC is seeking a temporary Buyer in Landrum, SC. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in-office and up to 2 days remote. You will procure, schedule and expedite goods, issue POs up to $50k, and synchronize with suppliers to optimize delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Two years as a Junior Buyer or Expediter in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Procure, schedule and expedite designated goods and services.
• Issue purchase orders up to $50k and long-term commitments up to six months.
• Determine availability of supply for requested items.
• Contacts vendors to improve delivery schedules.
• Reconcile accounts payable invoices with PO vs. invoice.
• Support DMR process and correct vendor quality issues.
• Coordinate with Planning & Inventory Manager as directed.
• Coordinate cycle counts with shipping weekly.
