We are seeking agents to work as needed in response to disaster relief efforts. This is a temporary, remote position contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs. Candidates accepted for this role will be contacted via email and text on an as-needed basis. Hours of operation are from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET, with shifts from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Responsibilities

What does a Hurricane Relief Agent do? We improve the customer experience by providing exceptional solutions to simple requests. You will apply the latest customer service techniques, learn our account management systems, and help improve the customer experience during a difficult time.

Our Hurricane Relief Agents are responsible for:

  • Assisting customers with service inquiries
  • Learning common requests and solutions
  • Enhancing the customer experience
  • Utilizing our service techniques and systems
  • Escalating customer dissatisfaction appropriately

You should be confident, fully engaged, a team player, dedicated, and bring a positive outlook to work each day.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Typing speed of 20+ words per minute
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic understanding of Windows OS
  • Reliability with good attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
  • Conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Customer service orientation (empathetic, responsive, patient)
  • Multi-tasking and self-management ability
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities
Conditions of Employment

Must be authorized to work in the job's country. Willingness to submit to background/security checks and drug screening. Job offers are contingent on these results.

Physical Requirements
