Zoo Health Club Derry is hiring a temporary Child Care Attendant to provide care during a staff member's absence. The role supports parents by supervising children during morning sessions and optional weekend shifts, with access to a complimentary gym membership as a perk.

The position runs September 16 to October 2, Monday through Friday mornings, with duties including engaging activities, safety, and helping with check-in and front desk tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in childcare/babysitting.
• Clean background check required.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED provided if not already certified.
• Teaching: 1 year preferred.
• Child Development Associate Certification preferred.
• Experience in health club or hospitality industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care and establish respectful relationships with children and families.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and welcoming environment for KidsPlace.
• Interact with children through active play and structured activities (materials provided).
• Assist front desk with greeting and check-in of members and guests.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and keep areas tidy.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods as needed.
• Communicate needs of KidsPlace supplies to management.
• Address member concerns and relay to management.
