About the team

Angi is seeking a Temporary Finance Manager for a long term assignment. The Temporary Finance Manager will oversee and lead the financial consolidations and reporting processes within the finance department. This role involves managing the monthly financial close and FP&A processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient reporting.

You will be responsible for the monthly forecast cadence, which involves collaboration with internal stakeholders, including FP&A, accounting teams, external auditors, and the parentcompany.This is a high-visibility role. You will ensure data integrity and consistency, driving processinnovation and efficiencies through automation.

This position will beremoteand require candidates to work up to 40hours per week.The hourly rate for this role ranges between $50-$62/hour.

What you’ll do

• Lead the financial consolidation process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation ofconsolidated financial statements across the business
• Oversee the monthly forecast process and ensure alignment with FP&A's internalcalendar, coordinating communication and deadlines across the business and parent
  company
• Finance Lead for coordinating the annual planning process and monthly forecast
• Manage month-end close activities, working closely with the accounting team todeliver on-time and accurate financial data
• Communicate real-time financial information to stakeholders, including seniorexecutives, providing insights on monthly financials versus expectations
• Review financial projections, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategyand executive expectations
• Collaborate and assist in the preparation of presentation materials to internalexecutive team and parent company
• Work on special projects and ad hoc analysis supporting finance executives
• Innovate financial reporting, responding to changing business priorities and strategicgoals across the organization
• Drive automation efforts, leveraging existing systems or implementing newtechnologies to eliminate manual tasks and increase process efficiencies
• Ensure SOX compliance, acting as the liaison between internal teams and externalauditors

Who you are

• Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor, manage, and develop a high-performing team
• 5+ years of relevant finance experience, with a strong background in consolidations andfinancial reporting, ideally within a medium to large organization
• Experience with ERP and financial forecasting systems such as Netsuite, PBCS, orEssbase
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projectsinvolving multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with senior executives, finance,and accounting teams to drive process improvement and ensure alignment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is required;advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus
