Duties and Responsibilities
  • Nursery/Greenhouse: work including potting, pruning, weeding, grafting, seeding, data entry, maintaining research plots, watering, fertilizer and pesticide applications, and maintaining nursery equipment. Percentage of time: 50%
  • Laboratory work: including washing dishes, preparing research samples, processing samples, data entry, and maintaining lab equipment. Percentage of time: 25%
  • Teaching and Extension: assist with activities related to preparing a weed science lab and editing extension publications. Percentage of time: 25%
