Job summary

Kore Cares is hiring a temporary part-time evening caregiver in the Yankton area. The role involves providing compassionate one-on-one care in clients' homes to help maintain independence and quality of life.

Shifts are in the evenings (roughly 4–5 PM to 9–10 PM) from November 1 through December 31. No experience is necessary—we will train you. This is a meaningful opportunity to serve the Yankton community and gain valuable experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care in clients' homes to maintain independence and quality of life.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Support ambulation, transfers, and mobility as required.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with scheduling as directed.
• Assist with light housekeeping, transportation, and errands.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding; maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Offer companionship and social support; follow care plans precisely.

Job Responsibilities

Caregivers provide essential services that allow clients to live their best lives at home. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Supporting ambulation and transfers with or without adaptive equipment
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with housekeeping, transportation, and errands
• Planning and preparing meals, feeding assistance, and kitchen clean-up
• Offering companionship and social support
• Following all tasks outlined in the client’s personalized care plan
