Qualifications

• High School Diploma and two years of related experience or equivalent combination
• First Aid training required
• Preferred: college coursework in biology, ecology, zoology, environmental science, veterinary science, or early childhood education with experience in nature-based programming

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, development, and evaluation of nature programs
• Conduct programs such as birthday parties, field trips, and camps
• Care for live animal ambassadors at the Nature Center
• Lead hikes and activities on rough terrain
• Represent the Nature Center at outreach programs and City events
• Perform front desk and administrative tasks
• Other duties as assigned
