Qualifications

• High School Diploma and two years of related experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• First Aid training.
• Experience in informal environmental education or professional work with animals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, development, and evaluation of nature programs.
• Conduct a variety of programs, including birthday parties, field trips, and camps.
• Assist with the care of the Nature Center's collection of live animal ambassadors.
• Lead hikes and activities on rough, uneven terrain.
• Represent the Nature Center at outreach programs and City events.
• Perform front desk and administrative tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
