Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in the discipline with competency in the teaching discipline.
• Documentation may include a certificate or degree and relevant non‑teaching work experience.
• ELPT course eligibility may be taught by degree holders in related fields.
• Professional licenses must be issued by the proper Texas authorities.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in accordance with course outlines and learning outcomes.
• Provide syllabus, objectives, materials, and evaluation methods to students.
• Maintain course records and certify attendance by deadlines.
• Submit final grades and communicate feedback to students promptly.
• Develop and update curriculum and instructional materials, individually or with colleagues.
• Diversify teaching methods to accommodate diverse populations and delivery modes.
• Use technology to enhance instruction and assess student learning regularly.
• Participate in departmental and college governance and program reviews.
