Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking a warehouse/e-commerce associate to support photography, listing, pricing, and shipping of donated items. This full-time position requires open availability based on operational needs and is temporary with strong potential for permanent hire.

You will write item descriptions, ensure accurate shelving and labeling, and prepare packages for shipping. You’ll also assist customers picking up local orders and respond to tracking inquiries.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • One year of retail, warehouse, and/or E‑Commerce experience (preferred).
  • Ability to use basic technologies (Internet search, Microsoft Office, and other software platforms).
  • Able to identify and describe high‑end merchandise such as antiques, collectibles, artwork, designer brands, jewelry.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers through verbal and electronic means.
  • Able to write and proofread item descriptions for clarity, spelling, and grammar.
  • Can withstand prolonged sitting/standing, reaching, and bending up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to use a dolly and pallet jack as required.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Photograph quality donated items, ensuring that photos include sets, groupings, design, markings, blemishes, wear and tear, and other product detail.
  • List and price products on our E‑Commerce platforms, ensuring accurate pricing, descriptions, attributes, and professional language.
  • Ensure all items are shelved accurately, safely, and securely.
  • Process daily packing slips as needed.
  • Identify and pull items for daily shipping using an automated computer system.
  • Accurately package all items for shipping, ensuring correct boxes are used and available.
  • Accurately label packages to be shipped.
  • Act as front‑line associate for customers picking up local orders.
  • Answer customer questions and concerns promptly, including help with tracking and carrier updates.
  • Coordinate customer refunds as needed.
  • Complete duties accurately, safely, and timely to protect items throughout the E‑Commerce process.
  • Promote and demonstrate positive teamwork and cooperation.
  • Adapt to and use technology as it becomes available, including automation and platform updates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Adhere to Goodwill and department policies, the Employee Handbook, and safety standards.
  • Cross‑train and work in other areas as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
