Job description
TrainCareConsult Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and skilled professionals to join our growing team of behavioral support staff. We provide in-home and community-based services to individuals with developmental and behavioral support needs, including cases that may involve high-intensity behaviors and complex presentations requiring sound judgment, professionalism, and a strong working knowledge of behavioral support practices.
This position is intended for individuals who can remain calm under pressure, exercise professional judgment in difficult situations, and provide safe, respectful, and person-centered support. Staff in this role are expected to assist clients through structured intervention, behavioral support, supervision, and implementation of individualized service strategies in collaboration with the broader support team.
We are currently hiring for the following roles:
The Behavioral Respite Care Provider / Direct Support Staff is responsible for providing direct support services to clients in their homes and community settings. This role includes supporting individuals who may present with significant behavioral challenges and require consistent structure, behavioral intervention, de-escalation support, and implementation of individualized plans.
Many of our cases require a high degree of attentiveness, emotional resilience, and professionalism. Staff must be prepared to navigate complex situations appropriately while maintaining the safety, dignity, and well‑being of the individuals served.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
This position requires staff to work with individuals who may experience severe behavioral episodes, emotional dysregulation, aggression, property disruption, elopement risk, and other behaviors that require a high level of support and intervention. Staff must demonstrate maturity, professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to respond safely and effectively in dynamic situations.
Applicants should understand that:
This is a hands‑on position performed in client homes and community-based settings. Staff may work independently or alongside other providers depending on the needs of the assignment. The work environment may at times include exposure to highly stressful situations, behavioral escalation, and individuals who may present with aggressive behaviors. Staff must be willing and able to work in this type of environment and respond in a professional, safe, and appropriate manner consistent with agency policies, training, and client support plans.
Because service settings vary from case to case, staff must be adaptable, observant, and prepared to work in environments that require consistent attention to safety, professionalism, and person‑centered care.
TrainCareConsult Inc. values professionalism, compassion, accountability, and high-quality care. Our staff play an important role in supporting individuals and families through complex and meaningful work. We are seeking professionals who are committed to providing respectful, skilled support and who are prepared to contribute positively to the lives of those we serve.
