The role requires Tennessee licensure and CPR/BLS certification, with preferred experience in dental software, radiography, and multi-provider practices within a DSO environment. This position is on-site and temporary.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist in Tennessee and active CPR/BLS certification.
• Proficiency in preventive and periodontal procedures (prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride treatments).
• Experience with dental radiography, electronic dental records, and basic dental software systems.
• Strong patient education skills with ability to explain oral health conditions and home care.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols, OSHA standards, and HIPAA in clinical settings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to support a dental care team.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced office.
• Previous experience in general dentistry or multi-provider practices; DSO exposure is a plus.

Role Description

This is a temporary, on-site Dental Hygienist role based in the Nashville Metropolitan Area. The Dental Hygienist will provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care, including dental cleanings, scaling and root planing, and application of sealants and fluoride treatments. Daily responsibilities include performing oral health assessments, taking and processing dental radiographs, documenting care accurately in patient records, and supporting the dentist during examinations and treatment planning. The role also involves educating patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and preventive care, while maintaining strict infection control procedures and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The Dental Hygienist will collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive, patient-centered experience.
