A Front Office Clerk/Dental Assistant contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly and helpful face to patients. Under the direction of the Dental Director at AHF, the Front Office Clerk/Dental Assistant provides assistance to the Dental staff.
As a Front Office Clerk/Dental Assistant, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing the front office, greeting patients courteously and sensitively, scheduling appointments, assisting with client needs, billing, maintaining dental charts, and conducting patient eligibility and financial screenings as required by the county.
The Front Office Clerk/Dental Assistant acts as a patient advocate and performs duties necessary to treat the patient in line with AHF's mission.
You can enhance the experience of other Downtown Dental staff by lending a helpful hand when needed and viewing your role as collaborative. Providing feedback to your manager about service improvements will help the team enhance their contributions.
The Front Office Clerk/Dental Assistant adds consistent value to the Downtown Dental Team by adapting to various situations with ease and flexibility.
