Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking temporary Certified Welding Inspectors to support Field QA projects in Farmington, NM.

The CWI will oversee inspection procedures, interpret specifications, and make accept/reject decisions on critical components for API/ASME standards. Level III inspectors may lead projects, provide technical direction to lower-level inspectors, and liaise with engineering, quality, and client representatives.

Qualifications

CWI Certification is required.
Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570.
8 years’ experience or 5+ years on site experience.
In-depth knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
TWIC card is a plus or obtainable.
Willingness to commit to a 4-8 week project.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure-retaining equipment per API/ASME standards.
Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, or alteration of plant equipment for safe operation.
Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues.
Provide guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
Fully comply with Acuren and client safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
Willingness to travel if needed.
