As Corporate Counsel, you will provide legal advice and direction across multiple legal disciplines, applying your expertise to solve complex issues with minimal guidance. We are seeking someone with demonstrated success in a law firm environment who can serve as a trusted advisor, strategic business partner, and practical problem-solver for the business.

The role requires comfort explaining legal and business concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders, as well as developing templates, playbooks, and best practices that help the business operate efficiently and consistently.

• Design, develop, and deliver the organization's legal service with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
• Draft policies, procedures, and related guidelines within an area of expertise to meet defined key principles and ensure compliance with external requirements.
• Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. and by reacting to these needs, issues, and concerns to support the communication of business information and decisions.
• ~ Develop and maintain practical templates, playbooks, and best practices to support consistent legal review, improve stakeholder understanding, and help the business move matters forward efficiently.

JD from an accredited law school and admission to the bar of a state in good standing

If performed in Illinois, the base pay range is $110,100 - $183,500.

If performed in Chicago, IL, the base pay range is $115,400 - $192,200.

If performed in Maryland, the base pay range is $110,100 - $183,500.

If performed in New York, the base pay range is $115,400 - $192,200.

If performed in New York City, the base pay range is $125,900 - $209,700.

If performed in Rochester, NY, the base pay range is $104,900 - $174,700.

If performed in New Jersey, the base pay range is $123,816 - $197,784.

If performed in Ohio, the base pay range is $99,700 - $166,000.

This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
