The Community Pet Clinic Operations Support Assistant provides hands‑on operational support for PetSpace's community‑based animal wellness and vaccination clinics, including setup, breakdown, logistics, equipment, day‑of operations. On days when the position is not supporting a community clinic, the role will provide similar hands‑on facilities and operations support at PetSpace or other locations, which may include setup and breakdown, moving equipment and supplies, and other logistical tasks. This role is ideal for a dependable, energetic individual who is comfortable working around animals, enjoys being part of a team, and can work efficiently in a fast‑paced, often outdoor environment. The position also provides basic technology support as needed. This position reports directly to the Director of Facilities and Operations and receives day‑of site direction from the designated site lead.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, grasp grip, put fingers together firmly and reach above and below shoulder level and lift up to 50 lbs, push or pull requirements of up to 100 pounds on Dolly or cart, repetitively use of hands to operate computers; flex the neck upward and downward; twist the neck and the waist. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
WORK CONDITIONS: Community clinic locations will vary. Clinic work will generally take place outdoors and requires being on your feet for extended periods. Sunday availability is required, along with availability for up to two additional days per week. The additional days may or may not involve clinic work; however, the duties are expected to be similar in nature and may include hands‑on facilities and operations support, setup and breakdown, moving equipment and supplies, and other logistical tasks. The specific additional days can be determined collaboratively based on operational needs.
