What You’ll Do: Administer medications and treatments accurately and efficiently, including: Transcribing orders, ordering, storing, and tracking medications and supplies. Documenting medication administration and treatments. Monitoring medication effectiveness, observing side effects, and reporting findings. Reinforce patient education provided by nurses and physicians. Support additional nursing functions as allowed under your licensure and training. Participate in a Medication Technician course and competency evaluation provided by the Department of Adult Correction to ensure your success.
