Job summary

Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership, Inc. seeks a Center Assistant to support meal preparation and cleaning, ensuring a quality program for children and families.

This role helps implement guidelines, document in-kind, and foster community partnerships under supervision. The position requires a high school diploma or GED (AA/BA in Early Childhood preferred), a valid driver’s license, and experience in cooking, cleaning, and working with preschool children.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist the center with ensuring a quality program and environment exists for children and families by ensuring all performance standards are met in the area of meal preparation and cleaning.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Help in the center as needed with cleaning and cooking


2. Implement curriculum in accordance with guidelines/training


3. Obtain and document in-kind


4. Develop and maintain consistent community partnerships


5. Case coordination with the Teacher/Center Specialist


6. Promote school readiness for children, families, and community members


7. Participate in all required meetings and trainings


8. Adhere to all CNCAP policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Highschool diploma or GED; prefer AA or BA in Early Childhood


2. Valid driver's license


3. Experience cooking, cleaning, and working with preschool children
