Position Details

• Position: Temporary Career and College Counselor - 1.0 FTE
• Availability: August 11, 2025 - December 19, 2025

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional Educator License with a school counselor endorsement
• Knowledge of counseling, leadership, and management skills
• Proficient with PCs, tablets, and mobile devices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and cloud-based applications
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work
• Self-starter with minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills in English and Spanish
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
• Customer service oriented
• Strong work ethic and confidentiality
• Ability to work positively with adults and students

Responsibilities

Carry out duties as a Career and College Counselor.

Salary

To be determined per Appendix A Licensed Salary Schedule - Negotiated Agreement.
