Job summary

University of California, Irvine is seeking temporary custodians to perform routine cleaning in campus facilities and UCI Health locations. The positions involve unskilled to semiskilled cleaning tasks, with responsibilities including floor care, bathroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning, and fixtures upkeep.

Candidates should have prior custodial or related cleaning experience and be able to read and follow written and oral instructions in English. Most shifts are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, housekeeping, or related cleaning experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Routine cleaning of facilities and unskilled or semiskilled tasks.
• Daily floor care, dusting, bathroom and kitchen cleaning.
• Trash removal, window cleaning, and general maintenance as needed.
• Work individually or as part of a team with varying public contact.
