Job summary

United-Engines is seeking an experienced buyer to purchase materials, equipment, supplies and services in line with prescribed policies. You will analyze requisitions, identify vendors, negotiate terms, place orders, and track deliveries to support production schedules and customers.

Qualifications include 1–3 years as a buyer, knowledge of purchasing practices, and experience with inventory software. Strong communication, time management, and teamwork are essential for this on-site role in

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience as a buyer.
• Knowledge of purchasing practices and materials/commodity markets.
• Experience with inventory software.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with desktop computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Process purchasing transactions per UE policies.
• Examine requisitions for completeness and accuracy; clarify as needed.
• Identify vendors, negotiate pricing and delivery; place orders.
• Review and monitor PO suggestions; provide reports as required.
• Track orders for on-time delivery and resolve issues.
• Review stock-out reports and expedite orders; manage inventory points.
