Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years as Junior Buyer or Expediter in a manufacturing environment using a computer-generated system.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Procurement, scheduling and expediting designated goods and services.
• Issue purchase orders up to $50k and long-term commitments up to six months.
• Determine availability of supply and contact vendors to improve delivery schedules.
• Reconcile accounts payable invoices against purchase orders and invoices.
• Assist with initial stages of DMR and work with vendors on quality issues.
• Support department manager as needed.
