Temporary Barista
This position is paid an hourly rate + tips.
Primary Purpose: To deliver exceptional guest experience and actively contribute to the store's sales performance by driving sales and representing the Coach brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Guest Engagement: Greet and assist guests with warmth and authenticity that makes them feel welcomed and look for cues on how we may make their experience fun and memorable.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of menu, merchandise, and Coach brand heritage to seize opportunities to share the craft & quality in all of our products.
- Selling Skills: Meet individual and store sales goals by sharing our different beverages, food, and merchandise options. Identify opportunities to enhance guest experience through customization and ensuring awareness of limited availability items.
- Visual Standards: Support floor sets, replenishment, and visual merchandising standards.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized and stocked workplace, ensuring proper sanitation and food safety standards are always followed. Operate espresso machines, grinders, and ovens to prepare and serve handcrafted beverages following recipe standards and customer preferences.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to solve problems and ensure seamless guest experience. Support team goals by sharing selling strategies and celebrating wins together.
The accomplished individual will possess:
- Prior experience as a barista or in a cafe setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash.
- Availability to work flexible hours/shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Skills & Abilities Required
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Can lift and carry items up to 25 lbs (regularly up to 50 lbs, occasionally).
- Effective client service skills.
- Proven organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work with food & beverage operating systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Work as part of a team and build relationships.

Base Pay Range
$15.00-$18.00
