Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate illnesses and injuries and determine the appropriate course of action and level of care.
• Provide athletic training services and support to student-athletes.
• Serve as a liaison regarding medical care and well-being among student-athletes, coaches, physicians, health care providers, and sports medicine staff.
• Maintain and update accurate medical records for individual student-athletes, including medical histories, physical examination forms, daily injury reports, treatment records, and progress notes.
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the athletic training room.
• Communicate effectively with coaches, student-athletes, and members of the Sports Medicine team regarding injury status, treatment, and return-to-play considerations.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Sports Medicine department.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field. (Doctoral Degree preferred)
