Job summary

Insperity in Dallas, TX, seeks a Temporary Associate Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing for assigned clients, handling information with accuracy and timeliness. You will contribute to timely wage calculations and data updates within established controls.

Under supervision, you’ll collaborate with the National Associate Payroll team, maintain client and employee data integrity, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while delivering reliable payroll

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receive payroll information from assigned clients and provide support to payroll specialists.
• Update payroll data and perform calculations with accuracy.
• Maintain data integrity for client and employee records and ensure compliance.
• Receive training from the National Associate Payroll team and attend department meetings.
• Communicate clearly with payroll specialists, clients and team members.
• Consult with supervisor and payroll trainer for complex questions.

This role resolves high-volume requests by taking ownership and coordinating with internal departments as necessary to obtain positive resolutions. This position is also responsible for upholding the integrity of the client and employee database and ensures all compliances are met. The Associate Payroll Specialist I is focused on learning payroll process’ after successful completion of Insperity training programs.Responsibilities:Under much supervision and no decision-making:Services Core/Emerging Growth clients by supporting specialists with employee changes, payroll information updates, and calculations.Upholds the integrity of the client and employee data base and ensures all compliances are met.Trains with the National Associate Payroll team, Supervisor and Payroll Trainers to develop skill levels.Attends weekly department meetings and reviews procedure manual on a semi-monthly basis.Establishes clear communications with payroll specialists, clients and team members in order to better serve the client.Consults with Supervisor and Payroll Trainer when responding to new or different questions from clients and employees.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
