The temporary Assistant Principal position last day will be June 30th 2025.
This position will provide transformational instructional leadership to planning, improving and managing the school. This includes a focus on high student achievement; building a positive school climate that supports the whole student; leveraging research and data to drive initiatives and instruction; and building a high-performing staff and leadership team to achieve the school’s vision and goals. The principal will collaborate with parents, community members, schools and the District office.

Required qualifications:
Current Oregon Administrative license or ability to obtain licensure.
Master’s degree in Education or related field.
A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a secondary school teacher.
Demonstrated success in cultivating equity and inclusion in an educational setting.
Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills.
Strong curriculum, instructional, and assessment knowledge and skills.
Experience with the implementation of evidence-based practices Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with diverse populations.
Working knowledge of laws/policies pertaining to essential job functions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:
We encourage multilingual candidates, and candidates with diverse lived experiences.
Bilingual in Spanish/English or extensive experience with implementation of two-way immersion and/or dual immersion programming.
