Job summary

Georgia Tech invites applications for a Writing Consultant to support applicants to graduate schools and prestigious fellowships. You will meet with students in one-on-one sessions, assist with essays, and coordinate with the Prestigious Fellowships team to prepare top candidates for Marshall, Fulbright, and Knight-Hennessy opportunities.

You will train with Specialized Advising advisors, participate in regular planning, and work under the Assistant Director for Prestigious Fellowships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Up to two years of job-related experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years teaching or tutoring English composition; 2+ years in academic advising or student services in higher education; Master's degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to professional field assignment.
• Participate in reviews for compliance with policy and governmental regulations.
• Provide input to department policies and procedures.
• May provide input to and administer project timelines and budgets.
• May interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues.
