Job summary

Astraccorp is seeking a Backend / Distributed Systems Engineer with hands-on Temporal.io experience to design, build, and operate scalable, fault-tolerant workflows across microservices.

This role centers on workflow orchestration, reliable execution of long-running business processes, and close collaboration with DevOps for deployment using Docker and Kubernetes, plus API and database integrations.

• Monitor and optimize workflow execution and performance
• Implement Saga patterns / distributed transactions
• Collaborate with DevOps for deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with:
• Hands-on experience with Temporal.io
• Solid understanding of:
• Distributed systems
• REST / gRPC APIs
• Experience with:
• Docker
• Knowledge of:
• Databases (SQL / NoSQL)

Additional (Nice to Have)

• Experience with:
• Graph DB (e.g., Neo4j)
• BPM tools like Camunda
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
