Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. is hiring a General Laborer to support battery production. You will load, stack, and inspect components, with emphasis on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

A consistent 40-hour schedule is provided with opportunities for overtime, and a production bonus structure is in place. You will be part of a team that values reliability and teamwork, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret 1st piece inspection.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Proficient with basic computer screens and data entry.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Load, remove, or stack components in the battery manufacturing process.
• Manually lift or push components to designated locations.
• Visually inspect materials and discard defects.
• May measure components or stacks and weigh finished products.
• Operate forklift equipment as needed.
• Maintain hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.
• Be available for mandatory overtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
• Commit to producing a high-quality product.
