• Basic understanding of construction, cabinetry, or countertop installation practices, including reading simple drawings or job layouts.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills to ensure precise templates and clear documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, installers, and office staff in a professional manner.
• Comfort working on-site in homes and commercial spaces, including climbing, kneeling, lifting moderate weights, and following safety protocols.

The Template Measure Technician is responsible for visiting job sites to accurately measure and template countertops, ensuring precise dimensions and clear documentation for fabrication. Day-to-day tasks include using measurement tools and digital templating equipment, reviewing project plans, confirming site conditions, and communicating with customers, installers, and office staff about job requirements. The role also involves maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, organizing measurement files, and supporting scheduling and workflow by promptly submitting completed templates. The technician contributes to quality control by verifying details such as overhangs, cutouts, seams, and material specifications before fabrication begins.
