Job summary

Cornerstone Defense is seeking a TEMPEST Engineer in Linthicum Heights, MD with active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph. The role focuses on TEMPEST testing, engineering recommendations, and working onsite with the customer to ensure mission security.

You will perform TEMPEST testing, evaluate changes for TEMPEST integrity, and participate in technical meetings with crypto device users and partners, serving as SME on TEMPEST issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of TEMPEST testing, design, or engineering.
• Certified TEMPEST Technician Level II certification.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Define TEMPEST testing requirements with the customer’s CTTA.
• Evaluate ECP packages to preserve TEMPEST integrity or trigger recertification as needed.
• Attend technical meetings with crypto device users, CSCMs and vendor partners.
• Perform TEMPEST lab testing of certified cryptographic devices to meet standards.
• Conduct TEMPEST field testing to identify vulnerabilities in secure systems.
• Provide SME support for TEMPEST vulnerabilities when issues arise.
