Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a TEMPEST Engineer Mid to protect classified information and support the F-35 program. You will perform emission-security engineering, coordinate with system engineers, facility teams and security personnel, and develop mitigation recommendations in line with government standards.

The role requires 4+ years TEMPEST experience, DoD TEMPEST policies knowledge, TS/SCI clearance, and a Bachelor’s degree; certifications such as CTT/CTE are a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with TEMPEST work.
• Experience performing TEMPEST and emission-security engineering assessments for classified systems, equipment, facilities, and processing environments, including Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information environments.
• Knowledge of DoD TEMPEST-related policies, directives, instructions and manuals.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across Government, contractor, and external stakeholders, prepare briefings, reports, standard operating procedures, and official correspondence, and lead a team in fast paced classified environments.
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• CTT/CTE certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized emission-security engineering to protect classified information from compromise through unintended technical emanations.
• Perform technical assessments and support secure system and facility design.
• Evaluate risks related to equipment placement and processing environments; develop mitigation recommendations.
• Coordinate with system engineers, facility teams, security personnel, and authorization stakeholders to integrate emission-security controls in classified areas.
