Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City seeks a Certified TEMPEST Professional (CTP) Level 1 or 2 to lead TEMPEST programs, including design, testing, and reporting to customers and the NSA. This role supports warfighter systems and TEMPEST compliance across subsystems.

The engineer will create plans, perform pre-test setups, and collaborate with program teams and external partners. A DoD security clearance is preferred; relocation or on-site presence may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of related experience; graduate degree with 10+ years; or 16 years if no degree.
• CTP Level 1 or 2 certification is required.
• Active Secret DoD security clearance (TS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain TEMPEST control plans, test plans, procedures, reports, and feature lists.
• Lead TEMPEST testing activities and assist in troubleshooting.
• Design and test TEMPEST compliance at system and subsystem levels.
• Support design reviews, grounding, cable design, and EMI considerations.
• Collaborate with government/NSA TEMPEST experts, customers, and suppliers.
• Provide in-house TEMPEST training and mentoring.
