Job summary

TMI Calibration, Hartford team, seeks a Temperature Calibration Technician to ensure accuracy of temperature and electronic measurement devices such as thermocouples, RTDs, multimeters, data loggers, and environmental chambers.

You will calibrate equipment, generate detailed reports, troubleshoot instruments, and support audits with technical expertise. Strong calibration background and U.S. residency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in temperature and electrical calibration (AC/DC, temperature, electrical, etc).
• Preferred: DOD, PMEL, or military calibration background.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship/Permanent Resident status required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate test equipment (Thermometers, temperature baths/chambers, temperature controllers, thermocouples, precision RTDs/PRTs/ SPRTS, and data loggers).
• Generate detailed calibration reports and certificates.
• Troubleshoot and maintain calibration equipment.

Pay rate: $35-40 /hr (based on experience)
