Temperature and Vibration Test Technician

Crystal Instruments operates from its headquarters in Santa Clara, California, with additional offices in Kannapolis, North Carolina (near Charlotte), and a testing facility in Huntington Beach, California, where this position is based.

Job Responsibilities

• HALT and HASS: Conduct HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screen) testing services.
• Vibration Testing: Perform vibration tests on electrodynamic shaker systems.
• QTP and QTR Documentation: Develop Qualification Test Procedures (QTP) and Qualification Test Reports (QTR) for testing services.
• Scheduling: Coordinate equipment and testing schedules with Sales.
• Installations: Support the installation of test articles in environmental chambers, vibration tables, and automated test stations.
• Proposal Writing: Prepare RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses for potential customers.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records for test procedures and results.

Qualifications

• Skills: Strong mechanical and computer skills, with a professional and social demeanor.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability: Full-time commitment with immediate availability.
• Preferred Experience: Background in HVAC, instrumentation, data acquisition, vibration analysis, and related fields.
• Industry Experience: Candidates with experience at major testing labs are highly encouraged to apply.

Compensation: $40 / hour
