Job summary

BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSSELLERS, INC. in Reno, NV is seeking Temporary Material Handlers to support order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The shift runs from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a $1.00 per hour shift differential on top of the base pay of $18.50 per hour, for a total of $19.50 per hour. As a material handler, you will ensure accurate and timely fulfillment for Barnes & Noble stores and .com orders, palletize, store, and ship products, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow safety protocols.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Mathematical skills for counting and measuring.
• Detail-oriented and accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Palletize, put away and ship product timely and accurately.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Rotate among material handler functions within the department.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals.
• Assist new hires and transfers in a friendly manner.
• Communicate with booksellers and management about questions or concerns.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Flexible schedule during peak season as needed.
