Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Warehouse Worker for a temporary shift in Houston. The role involves manual packing, operating electric lifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include unloading containers, weighing/ measuring items, and recording data. Prior forklift experience and basic ERP familiarity are a plus; a High School diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of basic warehouse or related experience required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• ERP software knowledge (MAS, SAP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack or package a variety of products to satisfy customer orders.
• Operate electric lifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely.
• Unload materials from shipping containers and prepare for processing.
• Record product, packaging and order information on shipping forms.
• Inspect materials to ensure packing specifications are met.
• Perform forklift maintenance to ensure equipment safety.
