Job summary

American Corporate Security, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Seattle, WA on a temporary, non-union basis. Under supervision, you will protect property, personnel, customers and visitors, performing patrols and enforcing security protocols.

Responsibilities include operating detectors, checking doors, directing traffic, documenting incidents, and maintaining logs. Requirements include being 18+, HS diploma, WA Guard Card, ability to work rotating shifts, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; security or law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform foot patrols to monitor property and people.
• Operate walk-through detectors and conduct hand-wand searches when needed.
• Provide customer service while enforcing security procedures and boundaries.
• Check perimeter fencing against the post security plan criteria.
• Secure doors and gates and report any security or safety threats.
• Direct traffic in all areas as directed, if available.
• Investigate and document perimeter alarms.
• Open and close doors as needed.
• Relieve other guards as needed.
• Complete daily activity log noting areas of concern and incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
