Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA Greenville warehouse seeks a reliable team member to handle storage and shipping of raw materials and finished goods, operating heavy equipment and maintaining safety on the floor.

You will support order fulfillment, sorting and stocking, assist machine operators and paperwork, train others when needed, and actively participate in health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills; ability to use scanning technology
• Previous warehouse experience, preferred
• Ability to use hand-held measuring tools, preferred
• Proficiency with computers beyond the basic level, preferred
• Safety mindset

Responsibilities

• Sort, stack, clean, wash, stock and inspect cartons, pallets, or parts.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This position works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation
• Perform general clean-up activities
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately
• Train others when required
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
