Ryder System, Inc. is hiring for Warehouse Associates in Whitestown, Indiana. Positions start as temporary with potential to become permanent. Expect weekly pay, on-the-job training, and safety gear. Roles involve handling electronic repair parts with pallet jacks and RF scanners on the 1st shift.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months of warehouse experience, PIT certification, and ability to lift 50 lb. Overtime wages apply; schedules run Mon-Thu, 6:30am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification.
• Ability to read basic mathematics in English for safety and work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into the WMS system.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure scanning accuracy.
• Train dock staff on new procedures and maintain security at end of shift.
• Perform picking and packing duties and check for product or container damage.
• Perform material moves and handle related transactions.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations and safety practices.
