Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a Production Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00pm–10:30pm) in San Diego. The role involves assembling components of medical diagnostic devices, performing in-process quality checks, and maintaining GDP/GMP compliance.

A high school diploma and 1–2 years of assembly experience are required, with a background check and drug screen prior to starting. Pay starts at $20.35 per hour with a potential pay bump upon conversion to permanent hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of assembly/packaging experience, preferably in regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• Familiarity with GDP and GMP is a plus.
• Basic written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components of medical devices following cGMP and SOPs.
• Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.
• Identify line issues and inform Team Leader or Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain safe, clean production areas and adhere to safety policies.
• Operate manual and semi-automated equipment and computer vision systems as directed.
• Maintain daily product logbooks and uphold GDP/GMP documentation standards.
