Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking candidates for an Assembly/Machine Operator role in Danbury, CT. This is an entry level, temp to hire position with opportunities for promotion. Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay rate: $18.50/hour.

Duties include general assembly of medical supplies in a clean room environment, following procedures, and quality control while operating multiple machines. Team environment supports daily production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow direction, both spoken and written.
• Must be able to handle small objects.
• Must have good vision for assembly and product inspection.
• Excellent manual dexterity.
• Must be able to work within a cleanroom environment (no nail polish, acrylics, jewelry or make-up).
• Must be comfortable with sitting for most of the day as well as repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

• General assembly of medical supplies in a clean room environment.
• Operator is responsible for following procedures for product assembly/fabrication based on customer specifications.
• Quality control and visual inspection of products.
• Operate multiple machines, such as attaching, winding, sealer, material cutters and machine-winding racks.
• Perform various assembling methods of very small objects with bonding or adhesives.
• Achieve and maintain daily production levels while producing a quality product.
• Work in a team environment, helping support departmental goals from production and quality.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
