Purpose of the Job:

Perform production and developmental testing and troubleshooting for RF Passive and Active electronic hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and calibrate test apparatus or device test equipment to conduct functional, operational, and environmental tests to evaluate hardware performance and reliability for Space Flight, following applicable test procedures.
• Conduct or witness extensive testing, including cold check, in-process, vibration, thermal, and thermal vacuum testing of complex electronic systems, sub-systems, and lower-level assemblies, using specialized or standard test equipment. Document results and recommend rework or repair.
• Operate various test equipment such as oscilloscopes, Digital Volt Meters, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, and Network Analyzer. Utilize laboratory equipment like thermal chambers and ovens for environmental testing.
• Analyze and interpret electrical/RF test data. Diagnose malfunctions and provide feedback to Test/Responsible Engineers.

Requirements and Education:

• Read, understand, and follow Quality policies and ISO directives.
• Ability to move test racks and equipment to support various work areas.
• Work in ISO9001:2000/SAE AS9100 environment.
• Work any shift on a flexible schedule; overtime may be required.
• Work with periodic supervision and receive general assignments.
• Identify process improvements to resolve hardware, procedural, and process issues.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in RF/Electrical testing, production testing, and troubleshooting or equivalent.
• Associates or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong background in electronics and RF testing, RF tuning, with attention to detail.
• Experience in defense or aerospace industry.
• At least 2 years as a Test Technician in manufacturing or military settings.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
