Securitas USA is hiring Security Officers to help maintain a safe environment for clients in Richmond Heights, MO. Shifts include 0700-1500, 1500-2300, and 2300-0700, with a starting wage of 18.00 USD per hour.

Duties cover access control, patrolling, and enforcing site rules while delivering customer service to employees and visitors. Qualifications include 18+ years, a high school diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and a background in security or related fields is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Driving record must meet company and / or insurance standards.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
• Reliable means of transportation needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises.
• Control access and patrol multiple locations as required.
• Enforce regulations and directives for client sites.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Conduct tours of the property and follow post orders.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate judgment and escalation.

The Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
